I have been begging for a Sony PlayStation Portable from my parents since it’s release date. But indeed very few beggars are successful and one of them is I.
When my uncle returned from a trip to U.S.A. he bought a PSP for himself. He stayed at my place for a day. The expressions on my face were worthwhile when I first had the PSP in my hand. I was all excited and curious. It was the first time I turned on the PSP myself. I played Juiced for about an hour or so and again made that gesture of a strong desire for something. It was the PSP that I wanted. I wished he had gifted me one. Somehow my dad recognized that expression on my face and said, “Hasit, why didn’t you tell your uncle to get the PSP for yourself?” I cursed myself for that sin and finally asked my dad to buy me one from here. There was huge difference in the amount with the American version cheaper. “Later Hasit. Maybe next year, after your board exam,” said dad. I once again made a depressing face. My dad somehow again interpreted it. “We will ask Kahan’s sister to get it, she is coming to India this month,” said dad. My face lit up and I got excited and all, again. The joy that I felt was unexplainable and I thanked my parents for the PSP in advance. I was too happy and excited to think of anything else and so I almost forgot that I had my tuition.
After about 20 days, Kahan’s sister arrived at his place and I got happy and all again. I nearly got punished in the school when I was lost in PSP. Later in the evening when I got the PSP, I was so glad. I came home running and unwrapped the PSP as fast as I could and I even think that I would have made it into the record book. I put the battery in and started it at once. I loaded some songs and a few demos onto my PSP and started playing. I was so crazy about it. Only a PSP lover can understand how overjoyed I was.
But the sad thing right now is that I have to yet go and buy some games. I am surely going this weekend and getting a game.
